We’re proud to host the Rink Rebels Icebreaker Friendship Tournament, coming to Fredericton, NB on August 8–10, 2025—a weekend designed to bring young female athletes together for connection, growth, and unforgettable memories on and off the ice.

Our mission is simple: to create a space where female athletes feel they truly belong. A place where development comes first, friendships are formed, and every player gets a fair shot to grow—on and off the ice. At Rink Rebels, hockey is about more than wins and losses. It’s about building confidence through hard work, learning from challenges, and making memories that last long after the final buzzer. We believe every girl deserves the opportunity to grow—not just as a player, but as a leader, a teammate, and a person.

Development here doesn’t stop at skills and systems. We’re focused on resilience, character, and helping players build a lifelong love for the game—because hockey should always be about passion, effort, and the simple joy of stepping on the ice knowing you belong.

As one of the first tournaments of its kind in the region, the Icebreaker is designed to inspire confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game in girls from across New Brunswick and beyond. In under four weeks, we’ve had over 170 girls so far sign up from all across New Brunswick, as well as Ontario, Nova Scotia, and even the state of Maine. We want to deliver a tournament they will never forget.

We’re inviting you to join us as a community partner in this initiative. Your sponsorship will help cover essential costs such as ice time, jerseys, tournament operations, and player programming. In return, we’ll proudly showcase your business on tournament signage, our website, and social media channels to recognize your support and highlight your commitment to the community.
