A Full Female Hockey Experience

Rink Rebels is proud to host a special Thursday August 6th, 2026 event built around development, mentorship, inspiration, and connection for young female hockey players.

This is more than a camp. It is a full female hockey experience where players will have the chance to learn from PWHL and university women’s hockey athletes, hear their stories, ask questions, build confidence, and see what the next level can look like.

From the rink to the stage, this experience is about giving young athletes direct access to strong role models in the women’s game through on-ice development, off-ice mentorship, player interaction, photos, autographs, giveaways, and a special Women in Hockey Night at the Fredericton Playhouse.

Players will leave with more than just a great day on the ice. They will leave with confidence, memories, and inspiration that can stay with them long after the weekend is over.

More Than a Tournament Appearance

While these athletes will also be making appearances during the Friendship Tournament over the weekend, the Thursday experience is designed to offer something much more personal.

Train With The Pros gives young players dedicated opportunities to learn from, interact with, and connect with PWHL and university women’s hockey athletes through on-ice development, mentorship, player Q&A, photos, and autographs.

Instead of simply seeing the athletes around the rink, participants will have meaningful, structured time with them in an experience created specifically to inspire and support young female hockey players.

Thursday is about closer interaction, real conversations, and the chance to learn directly from athletes who have reached the next level.

The athletes may also be part of the tournament weekend, but Train With The Pros is the opportunity to connect with them in a more focused and memorable way.

Train With The Pros Experience
(Open to players u11, u13, u15, u18)

$149 plus HST

The Train With The Pros Experience is the full Thursday experience.

Players will take part in on-ice development, off-ice mobility and recovery, mentorship, player interaction, photos, autographs, giveaways, and a limited edition event package. This experience also includes two tickets to Women in Hockey Night at the Fredericton Playhouse.

Each participant will receive:

One on-ice development session with PWHL and university women’s hockey athletes
Off-ice mobility, stretching, and recovery session
Direct player interaction and mentorship
Photos and autograph opportunities
Live player Q&A
Special edition event package
Signature print featuring the players and Friendship logo
Water, snack, and special giveaways
Two tickets to Women in Hockey Night at the Playhouse

Goalie Session

Goalie Experience

$149 plus HST

Goalies will receive the complete Train With The Pros Experience, including both a position-specific goalie session and the opportunity to join the on-ice development session with players in their age group.

The focused goalie session will provide position-specific instruction, game-like situations, skill development, and confidence building in a supportive environment.

Goalies will also receive the same full event package as every other participant, including:

Off-ice mobility, stretching, and recovery session
Direct player interaction and mentorship
Photos and autograph opportunities
Live player Q&A
Special edition event package
Signature print featuring the players and Friendship logo
Water, snack, and special giveaways
Two tickets to Women in Hockey Night at the Fredericton Playhouse

Goalies are not separate from the experience. They receive additional position-specific development while still participating alongside their age group and enjoying the complete Thursday experience.

Women in Hockey Night

$45 plus HST

Tickets are general admission seating. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join us Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Fredericton Playhouse for a special evening celebrating the growth of women’s hockey.

This live event will feature player stories, audience Q&A, interaction, and an inspiring night with PWHL and university women’s hockey athletes.

Players, families, coaches, fans, and supporters will have the chance to hear directly from athletes about their journeys, challenges, successes, and the lessons they have learned along the way.

This option is perfect for families, young athletes, fans, and supporters who want to be part of the evening celebration.

Female hockey is growing, but young players still need more opportunities to see what is possible.

Train With The Pros was created to give players that opportunity.

Registration Dates

Registration for the Train With The Pros Experience will open first to players already signed up for the Rink Rebels Icebreaker Friendship Tournament.
