Mark MacNevin

If you’ve ever laced up at Willie O’Ree or heard the roar from a U11 bench in Fredericton, chances are you’ve seen Coach Mark doing what he does best—teaching, inspiring, and rallying the next generation of athletes. Mark MacNevin brings over a decade of coaching experience to the Rink Rebels community, with a resume as versatile as a two-way defender. From winning the FYHA U9 Division Director Volunteer Award to helping shape Fredericton’s thriving female hockey scene, Mark’s passion for building confident, skilled, and game-smart players is undeniable. Whether it’s breaking down defensive zone reads or celebrating the little wins after practice, his energy on the ice is unmatched. Off the ice, Mark has also carved out a national presence in the baseball world—coaching elite youth athletes and representing Team NB at the National Championships. Yep, this guy throws heat in more ways than one. He’s not just a coach—he’s a builder. A connector. A believer in girls' hockey and a champion of fun, competitive culture. When Mark’s around, you’ll find hockey brains being sharpened, confidence rising, and players skating out of their comfort zones.
