Ava Burns

Ava Burns is finishing her second year as a Fredericton High School Black Kat (Grade 10) and continues to play an important role within the original Rink Rebels community. As a Junior Coach and one of the creative voices behind our social media, Ava brings passion, energy, and a strong connection to the younger generation of players.

Growing up around the game and around the Rink Rebels program, Ava understands the impact that positive mentorship can have on young athletes. Whether she’s on the ice helping with drills, behind the scenes capturing the spirit of our teams through social media, or assisting with Rink Rebels swag and merchandise, Ava is always ready to jump in and help wherever she’s needed.

She leads with positivity, pride, and a genuine love for the game. Ava’s commitment to growing the game — and helping create an environment where every player feels seen, supported, and confident — makes her a valued part of the Rink Rebels team.
