Kate Hunter has been part of Rink Rebels Sports & Development Inc. since the very beginning, helping shape not just our events — but our culture.
As Events, Community & Partnerships Director, Kate plays a central role in defining the Rink Rebels experience. She works closely with families, volunteers, and community partners to ensure every initiative reflects the values this program was built on — inclusion, connection, and opportunity.
Kate leads event coordination, strengthens meaningful community relationships, and supports the continued growth of girls’ hockey across our region. Her ability to bring people together and create experiences that feel welcoming and purposeful has become a cornerstone of who we are.
She believes hockey is about more than on-ice development. To Kate, the game is a powerful platform for building confidence, resilience, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Her people-first approach ensures that every player feels seen, supported, and empowered — both as an athlete and as an individual.
Her steady presence, thoughtful perspective, and deep commitment to community have helped shape Rink Rebels from its earliest days — and continue to guide where we’re headed.
