Claire Nimegeers
Let’s go! The rebellion just got stronger with the addition of Claire Nimegeers to the squad. If you don’t know her name yet, trust us—you will soon. Hailing from Regina, Saskatchewan, Claire brings prairie grit, big-game experience, and an unshakable work ethic to everything she does. Now representing the St. Thomas University Tommies, she’s made a name for herself in the AUS as a forward who refuses to back down. With fast hands, sharp instincts, and a motor that doesn’t quit, Claire isn’t just playing the game—she’s shaping it to her will. In her most recent season, Claire tallied 12 points over 28 games, finishing with a +7 rating and earning a reputation as a reliable two-way player. Whether she’s burying a clutch power-play goal or delivering a gritty backcheck that swings momentum, Claire is always in the mix—always making something happen. But stats only tell part of her story. What truly makes Claire a Rink Rebel is her mindset. She shows up early, pushes harder, and plays for the crest on her jersey—not for personal credit. On the ice, she’s electric. Off the ice, she’s a leader, a role model, and the kind of person who makes everyone around her believe they’re capable of more. Claire’s not here to blend in—she’s here to build something. To blaze a trail. To show the next generation what it means to chase greatness with fire in your chest and purpose in your stride. This is what a Rink Rebel looks like: strong, focused, and unapologetically herself. So say it loud—welcome to the rebellion, Claire Nimegeers!
